Black Lava Field

The vast black lava plain from Batur's 1974 and 1994 eruptions, stretching from the volcano's lower slopes to the lake edge. The alien landscape of solidified lava flows, cracks, and pioneer vegetation creates abstract top-down patterns unlike anything else in Bali.
